This guy showed up on x-mas eve to help me out with a furnace issue, had the necessary parts and had heat restored within 1 hour - And the bill was more than fair! I have used Tom for all my heating needs since, he is professional, polite and courteous, a pleasure to deal with - Highly recommend him in the local area.

over the weekend
my basement hot air oil furnace began making a loud clatter and then finally it started tripping its emergency reset switch.
the next available Monday, Alton Heating sent their repair tech down and he made a diagnosis 11AM that morning.
by 5pm that day the burner had been repaired very conveniently while I was away.
his diagnosis was correct -
a loose coupler connecting the oil and air pumps.
all for under $100
