Safeguard your wallet and your faith in the basic good of mankind if you deal with Jason Turner of Turner Interior Solutions because he will rob you of both. I found him through Service Magic and he talked a good game at first. He said that part of his sheetrock ceiling repair would include a free roof inspection (which he did not do but I didn't know that). I live out of state and am trying to have minor repairs done so I can sell this townhouse. He charged over a $1000 to do minor repairs and then informed me a week later when he took his cleaning person to the house to clean that the new ceiling repair and water were on the floor and that there must be a problem with my roof. Of course there was probably a problem with the roof - where else would the water damage to the ceiling have come from and why else would he offer to make the free roof inspection?

Bottom line is that he then offered to charge me $900 to tar some holes in the (flat) roof (an estimate from another licensed contractor was only $400) and he said he would re-repair the ceiling - it was clear then that he was building in the cost of the re-repair to the roof charge - and there would have been no need to re-repair if he'd just done the roof inspection like he said he was doing.

Now, weeks later, he's denying he ever said he'd do the roof inspection, even though I have witnesses to that. To add insult to injury, he told me this week (weeks later) that the cost to clean up is now $600 even though I have a written accepted contract for $300 and I already paid him and he accepted the $300. Even worse, he still has the $300 that I paid him and no cleaning has been done and he told Service Magic today that the did not have any money to return to me and the only work he had ever contracted to do for me was the sheetrock even though I have numerous invoices from him for all the work he was contracting to do at the townhouse.

Jason Turner has taken advantage of me and taken money for which he has not done work. I am so saddened by his dishonesty that I felt compelled to share this nightmare in the hopes of saving someone else this heartache.

Times are tough enough as it is without having your money stolen by contractors!
