Gumbo's Cajun Restaurant

I've eaten @ Gumbos 3 times and have been dissatisfied EVERY time. I just ordered the Gullah Rice and according to my menu it was 7.50. When I picked it up I was informed that it was 12.72. Their food is always bland. They don't clean their shrimp and I'm pretty sure the chicken was bad. I'm starting to feel ill. I don't know how quickly you feel the effects when you've got food poisoning, and quite honestly, the only reason I even ate it was because it was soooo exspensive. If I didn't learn a lesson the first 2 times, I have now. I will never eat @ Gumbos again!

This is the best cajun food i have ever had. i miss it b/c i have recently moved away. i would love to move back for the blackened roast beef sandwich or the dirty rice. AMAZING. you will love this place. try it.

This is quite a place. The menu has Louisiana Cajun and Carolina Low Country seafood. Everything I've had in a half dozen visits has been good. This is probably the only cajun restaurant in West Virginia and the best seafood in Southern WV. Muffaletta, dirty rice, red beans and rice, gumbo, etouffee, shrimp, crawfish, flounder, alligator, Gullah rice, they do it all and do it well. Tastes from New Orleans and Pawley's Island, SC. Treat yourself.
