Friendly, clean and great food...you could not ask for more... try it and you will agree with me!!

We used to only order Pizza, Wings and Antipasto as takeout, and found them all to be terrific. Recently, we went there for lunch and dined in and found the food and service to be the best in Lakeland. The soup of the day was squash and red pepper, and I wish I had a bowl of it in front of me right now! My wife ordered the eggplant parm and I had the lasagna. Not only were they both delicious, but the portions were large enough for us to have a second full meal from the leftovers. The service was both friendly and efficient, and the meal was fine-dining quality, but the price was very reasonable. If you go, you won't be disapointed.

When you compare or rate restaurants there is always that one great place you compare everyone else to. If you live in or visit Lakeland, for Italian food, Romeo's is that place. The pizza is melt in your mouth perfection. You'd have to go to NY to get any better and even then.... The fettuccine alfredo tasted as if it came directly from Italy. Creamy and delicious. The soup of the day is a fresh ingredient trip to wonderland. They only make soups with what is freshly available that day. You never know what the next day will bring. And who the heck cares , its all super good. I don't even bother asking what it is, I just ask for :"the soup". The deserts are ALL handmade. The tiramisu was to die for. Lets face it, you could just throw a dart at the menu and always come up with a perfect meal. The guys in the back are specialists in what they do. If you like great tasting old world goodness. Do not miss the opportunity to come by and savor the flavors of Italy. Clean, fresh, great service. Not expensive.
