Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was less than impressed. Atmosphere and service are good, but the food is only slightly above average (if that )and expensive. Good place for drinks and maybe appetizers or desserts, but for meals, there are better options downtown.

My wife and I plus another couple recently ate at Red Seven. I had heard a lot about the place and wanted to check it out first hand!!! The atmosphere is AMAZING! It reminded me of restaurants in Vegas (minus the winning money!). Anyway, we had a short wait for a table . . . about 10 minutes.

We sat in a section past the Bar . . . . that could be bad because my wife and I hate eating in smoky bar areas . . . BUT, Red Seven is NON SMOKING!!! Amber was our server and she was very entertaining and fun.

We asked what to try and she made some suggestions . . . we had drinks (2 mojitos + others), appetizers, salads, entrees and a WOW dessert! The highlights were the steaks - Angus & hand cut in house. The Ribeye was terrific and my wife had the NY Strip covered in some asiago cheese sauce that was spectacular.

The dessert was a "Bomba" . .. . now, I had no idea what this was, but Amber promised we would like it . . it was chocolate covered vanilla and chocolate gellato . . . man was that good and unique.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place . . . Oh, and the prices were very reasonable! I am so sick of people complaining about price in a place like Red Seven . . they want Windows Of The World food but at Denny's prices . . . get a CLUE!! Have you filled up your gas tank recently? I would gladly pay appropriately for great food and smart/fun service!!

    Peace!

This place is the best place to go with friends and be able to have a conversation in a new modern atmosphere, good drinks, and great food. Service is spectacular and all at a very affordable budget. The decor is great! I particularly enjoy the non-smoking atmosphere inside and the open area outside.

I will definitely start going there on a weekly basis.
