I fully agree with Leslie that this place was just awful!! I'm only sorry I didn't read this review before I stepped foot into that salon. I am new to the area and had made two hair appointments for my daughters and I. I got the impression that they were uncomfortable around a non-white person. As if I probably couldn't carry a conversation with them. Anyway, I received the hand massage they promised... only to develop itchy rashes later at home where they had used the lotion or oil. I could tell Kelly was in a rush with me since she didn't cut my hair as I wanted her to even though I asked the same thing repeatedly, but it was a decent cut... I'm just not loving it. Then when I paid the bill, she asked if I wanted a lipgloss touch-up and I said yes, but she walked away! Alright, so I wasn't going to make a fuss about that. The next day, I brought in my daughters for their haircuts. They are all under 12 yrs old. When I was paying this bill, the cashier went to the stylists whispering how much to charge me. My bill after they were all done was $62. I was only expecting to pay a little over $30 since they are UNDER 12 YEARS OLD. However, I was told that since my eldest had long hair, they had to charge extra to cut longer hair. That's the silliest thing I ever heard. It would have been nice to know that before they started cutting. I asked the lady to break down their prices for each child for me. She said they charged $25 for the eldest and $10 for the other two. That's only $45 total!!! Hello!!! The lady just totally made it up!!! She couldn't explain it me other than "we had to charge more for the oldest since she had long hair". I asked if they had included the tip in the full price and she said no. She then proceeded to ask me if I wanted her to add a little more to the total if I didn't have enough cash to tip. With three girls staring at me and wondering why I was arguing with the lady, I just paid it... and even left a generous tip!! They may have made a $150 from me, but they lost a good customer who would have given them more business. I, too, would seriously advise going to Super Cuts over this place!!!!

I just have a question/comment for the reviewer above. I know that when I bring my daughter in, I am charged 10 dollars plus her age, so the total for her cut is 18 dollars. Could this be where the extra charge came from? Personally, I have had good experiences with this salon for the past year or so.

I had hi-lites and got a hair cut. It looked great (at least that what everyone told me - even my mom). After that, I received a massage. It was wonderful. At the end of the day, it was a perfect day at the spa.
