Dear Sirs,
Like so many individuals, I recently needed help to get out of credit card debt incurred by my son. I know I felt so desparate, not to mention the fact that it was at the holiday time. Bank of America was one of the few banks to give home equity loans on a rental property I own. The service provided by Jeffrey Tevanian was invaluable to me. His services went way beyond your guidelines in the banking industry. His assurances that I was not alone in this matter, plus his reassurance that there was a solution to my dilemma helped me to cope at this difficult time in my life. His professionalism was always evident but I do not think you could have adequately trained him or pay him for the compassion and caring nature he exhibited. I got the sense that situations like mine, though he may deal with them daily, also way heavy on his heart. This must be particularly difficult when there are no answers to be found. I had already come to your bank after having had a difficult meeting at my Credit Union, where I had done business for over 30 years, and felt so humiliated to appear to be begging for help. I was so blessed to not have the same situation with Mr. Tevanian. One of my Credit cards happened to be with Bank of America and my treatment by them when asking for help to lower interest rates was the least compassionate of the others I had dealt with and I swore I would never do business with Bank of America in any way. Well, Jeff Tevanian turned that around rather quickly. Never say "never" as the saying goes!
