I've been with Emerald City Model and Talent for 4 years now and I couldn’t be more happy with my representation, I've gotten more jobs though this agency then any agency I ever been with and unlike most agency’s in the area I didn’t have to waist my money on classes or pay any monthly fee's. If you want a no joke agency this is the place to go.

I've been "represented" by Emerald for over a year now. I use the term very loosely. I've only been sent out on one job as an "extra". I had to speak on camera. Which I assume make me a "prinicipal". But was only paid as an "extra". I naively paid the owner of the agency over $500 for some lousy headshots and a job that paid me $100 (of course he took his 20%). And it took him over 3 months to pay me what I was owed and only after I sent numerous emails. The owner will strong arm you to make you feel like he is doing you the favor of representing you. Of course, while I sit at home waiting for all the fabulous jobs he promised, I see him starring in commercials for local businesses.

He doesn't have you sign a contract to legally bind him to find you work. He got my money. Don't let him get yours.

I've learned the hard way that real agents get paid after the job is done by the people who hired you; not by you.
