One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. This is THE place to get hard to find cuts of meat (frog legs, liver, bone marrow, and yes, foie gras). Always great service and very reasonable prices. The only downside: difficult to find parking
This is a must visit if you are in Seattle. I don't typically write reviews, in fact, this is my first. I was just there last night and had an amazing dinner. Everything was perfect. We were sat right away and from that point forward it didn't stop getting better. The server, who's name has slipped my mind, was willing to take the time to go over the menu and joke with us. She helped us pick a great beer and help with the food selections. The food was great, i highly recommend the pork loin, crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. I had the chance to meet with the GM and Chef and they were more helpful in telling me more places to check out while i was town. As a food lover and chef, that was the best part, being able to sit and talk with people of like minds and to learn more about the area. I will deffinately be going back when i am in town next.
I had quite the experience with perfect attention to flavor and taste that they prepared for my gf and me. For the main course, I had the Beef tongue, though it sounds bad, it was so delicious in every way. The scallops were far better than I had ever tasted along the west coast. It was a bit pricey for 2 scallops at $15 for the plate, but I did truly enjoy the proper way that it was cooked especially with the kernel popcorn crumbs. We had the meatballs, delicious, the salad, perfect, and then the sloppy Joe, far better than any other I've had. One last thing, the desert, it was this huge marshmallow on top of this amazing cold brownie . . . This place is great, the food is amazing, waiters were very knowledgeable in the menu. I came in about 6pm last night (Monday), I look forward to eating there again.
