Called their parts department today with a question about whether some part from an older van would fit my van. My question was obviously not going to make them any money but the parts guy was very nice, searched, and found the answer to my question. Very cool.

I just purchased a used vehicle from Seaview and felt compelled to speak out about the experience. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from Seaview since 1992, but the first in over a decade. First, they gave me a great deal on the vehicle, and they gave me over book on my trade (some dealers try to insult you with low ball offers on your trade). After some very minimal negotiating we agreed to the price. I drove away, happily, with my vehicle (and, by the way, when Seaview says a used car is clean, they mean it. I am very particular about my vehicles and this one was a beauty, just like they said). Anyway, part of why I like Seaview is because they offer a 90 day limited warranty on their used vehicles. The day after I purchased my vehicle I discovered an issue that was not covered by their limited warranty. I called the salesperson up thinking I was going to have to argue or try to get out of the deal, but they had me come in, they reviewed the problem, and they promised to fix it. They told me it was not their intent to sell a vehicle with a problem and, based on how they took care of it, I would have to agree.
Anyway, the public needs to know that there is such a thing as a reputable car dealership -- Seaview. All 3 times I have purchased from them I received a good deal and was treated with courtesy and respect. Now is a great time to buy a car and if you are in the market, check out Seaview. Ask for Dave Miller or Jim Ault. They are good guys with a ton of experience and they give it to you straight. And, hats off to owner Chris Olsen for running a quality dealership and doing the right thing.
