User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHi, This is Kris. My husband and I own Holy Smoke. We want to thank everyone for their wonderful reviews. The hours of operation are Monday -Thursday 11:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. Friday and Saturday 11:00A.m. to 9:00p.m. I dont know where that info, came from that says we are only open til 5:00p.m. and closed on Saturdays. How in the world could we make a living with those hours? Come on out and get your BBQ on!!

This is the best BBQ restaurant I've ever been to. I used to drive 45 minutes to Warrensburg to get Perry Fosters (now, the second best BBQ). There are other good BBQ places in KC, obviously, but none are as good as this.

I get so annoyed when Kansas City only talks about the same old Barbeque establishments. BORING! Think outside the boxes of old beef and pork. Some so fatty, it jiggles when you carry it to your table. (May I help you?) If you want authentic, great taste, Holy Smoke all the way baby! Lee's Summit's best and possibly the new great barbeque of KC! I emplore all the critics of KC to try this out. You wont regret it. The POOR RICK is my favorite. Plus...Kris, one of the owners is a great baker of cobblers, cakes and pies. YUM YUM
