My favorite place in lexington! Great homemade food, a menu that changes daily. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Best of all, they have full dinners you can take home and microwave in 3 minutyes. Just like going out to eat, only easier, cheaper and you don't have to go out again after you get home.
i love the roast salmon entree, and my husband adores their pork dishes.
as for desserts, their bread puddings are delicious, and the chocolate terrine is an experience not to be missed. Two thumbs up!

Great, healthy homemade food! This is my favorite place in Lex, take-out is convenient, the atmosphere is cute and friendly, and the moussaka is excellent.

Great little find in Lexington! We were driving by and saw the red umbrellas, and the parking was so convenient we just pulled right in. They have everything! My husband had the soup and sandwich special. He had a white bean and ham soup that was amazing, and one of the best chicken salad sandwiches i've ever tasted. (I made him share!) I had a slice of the most heavenly quiche, with a homemade crust that made me want to come back every day.
They have full dinners you can take to go, and all sorts of things I wish we could have tried. We took a couple of cookies for the road and I swear if we hadn't been halfway to Richmond I would have gone back for another of those peanut butter cookies with the chocolate inside.
A great find, and if we are traveling anywhere near there in the future we will be sure to stop in.
