User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsOn 24 June 09 I had lunch with my office fellow at this restaurant. My food cost was $9.95, VA Sale Tax .90 totalling $10.85
Surprisingly restaurant added 18% TIP to my bill, which is ridiculous and unfair. I am not sure if city officials check this kind of rip-off or not however, as a customer I dislike this practice and unhappy with the charge.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI went twice and loved it both times. The food was wonderful and the presentation was amazaing. Great service, would recommend this place to anyone who loves good Sushi or Thai!! You have to try the appetizers they are soo delicous....

Galae Thai may be overpriced to people who, unlike me and people I take, require a ton of food to be satisfied. The first few times my mother went she always got an entree...until I forced her to try just two appetizers. She was full and they were reasonably priced and delicious. I have never ordered an entree from here because their sushi is the freshest and best prepared I've ever come across...and it is the same price as most sushi places. I'm a college student with very limited funds, btw. If you go, try to make it for happy hour (5-7pm...because they are closed from 3-5pm) and some of the best appetizers are only $5.
