Alor Cafe

Alor Café is really unlike any other place on the island, and for that reason alone it should be visited. Excellent service and reasonable prices are two more reasons, if you need them. I stopped by Alor Café on a Tuesday evening, after driving by it a few times and my curiosity was aroused enough for me to enter. I had a wonderful experience. A very relaxed atmosphere and soothing music allowed me to actually get some work done while I dined! The décor is fabulous-bright colors, large windows, and really interesting tabletops! They have a delectable (and healthy!) menu (and I am looking forward to returning so I can sample their brunch!) I began with the Apple Almond Crunch salad. (Yes, it was as good as it sounds.) I then had the Tomato Mushroom Crepe, and for dessert the Thin Tarte Au Pomme. I can usually do without something sweet, but Alor has a few delightful choices. This dessert was portioned just right. Oh, and definitely try one of their amazing teas. I had Chamomile and Citrus tea…delicious all by itself with nothing added. I definitely recommend Alor to anyone looking for a great casual dining experience or a place to relax and get coffee with friends. They definitely have found a repeat customer in me!
