    Great BBQ. A bit out of the way. I had the pulled pork and my wife had the brisket lunch special.No lack of meat on the sandwiches. Although the brisket needs to be cut thinner for the sandwich. Good BBQ sauce also,Served on the side like it should be.We only tried the potato salad,but it was good.
    On the way out we bought some pork ribs to check out. They use an vinegar base to baste the ribs,this has a fair amount of pepper in it so you have to dip it in the BBQ sauce to take some of the heat away.Not as much smoke ring as I like on the ribs. But it beat the craps out of the garbage served by Texas road apple and unfamous what ever his face is.
    They are only open during the week. They seem to use weekends for festivals and BBQ cook-offs. Some of the best Q I have found in No. CA

    We love their food. My Daughter is a pulled pork fan, I think their chicken is the best chicken I have ever had. The potatoes salad is excellent the macaroni salad is good not as good as the potatoe though. Chili is great some days and good others. Everything is good the only thing we haven't tried yet is the ribs.

    Wahoo & KJs BBQ is a small, family owned restaurant whose owners care about the quality of their food and their service. Friendly staff, excellent food for eat in dining, take out, or catering. Located at 4821 Yosemite Boulevard in Empire, CA, they are worth the drive to enjoy a generous portion of delicious BBQ with all the trimmings!
