Food was so-so, what kept me from ever going back, was the curly black hair under my dinner which was brought out by some guy in a dirty teeshirt, when I brought this to there attention it was treated as a normal occurance there. Tables rocked and teetered, atmosphere, was none.
This is a great little restaurant with a lot of potential. The food is very good and the service is wonderful. However, they do need to work on some things. They often run out of certain types of alcohol (mainly liquor, wine is always in abundance!) and once they get more than 20-30 people at a time they get a little flustered. Though truly this doesn't happen often; there's usually the perfect amount of diners to where a seat is always available, the food gets served fast and servers are attentive. I'm also not particularly fond of the neutral, minimalistic theme; it lends to a uncomfortable atmosphere.
Fortunately the quality of the food and the decent prices far outweigh any negative. I recommend the Chicken Vesuvio and the Diablo pasta dish.
I have had everything from pasta to steak at this restaurant and it was excellent. The atmosphere is relaxing. The service is wonderful. It is one of the best restaurants our area has to offer. I spend 5 hours cooking my Bolognese sauce from scratch. I know good food. This is not your average"Jewel" food! I believe it's hidden location is the only thing keeping it from being discovered.
