I have no complaints about either Dr. Visser. They've always been more than kind and caring. As far as the rest of the staff, they have always been kind and courteous.
This vet writes articles in the community news and upon meeting the vets, they appear friendly and sincere. We thought this was going to be a great place to get our animals taken care of. Being new in the community, we thought we were making a good choice. WE WERE WRONG. Significantly unresponsive to calls for information, patronizing when called on the carpet for their lack of consideration to clients. POOR customer service, bad misinformation regarding medical care. Overcharges(never got the neuter discount for pound dog) and lack of full disclosure related to expenses of services.(costs not addressed related to elective antiemetic meds) I can't even say how many times I tried to get my name correct in their computer system only to find out the next time that nothing got fixed.
When told we would get calls back, that would almost never happen. We would have to call repeatedly through the week just to get a response. When I needed shot records(which were going to be sent to my home that day) well, I'm still waiting and it's been 5 days. When I would address my concerns, they would appologize and yet the same things happen again. Unless you have time for frustration, irritation and the run around, check these people out fully before making them your vet.
