Tavern on Seven

We love Tavern on Seven. I saw recently that they now have a shuttle to deal with the parking issue. I'm not sure where the shuttle goes to, but you could probably call and ask. Crossing Route 7 at night is not a good idea. Food at Tavern on Seven is phenomenal. The service is good and the food is served quickly. Each time I go, I try something new and have yet to be disappointed. Their fish and chips is excellent. The Cuban Sandwich is delicious. My husband had the salad with the pears and brie cheese.... heavenly. Specials have been consistently good. It is a *bit* pricier than say, Dry Dock, but food is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Great place---Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Prices are a little high, but the food is superb quality for a tavern. And this is the only place in the area (nothern norwalk )that has the NFL ticket on Sunday. Its a very lively and fun place. The staff seems well trained in getting to know their repeat clientle, and treats them like VIPs.
This may sound like a strange complaint, and it's a minor one, but they need to do something about there lighting. Its either way too bright or too dark depending on where you are sitting. They have spot lighting and if you are under them you feel like you are getting interogated. And other parts of the bar feel like they way to dim. And they also need to get a Valet parking for busy nights. Someone is going to get clocked crossing Main Street one of these days. Other then that, its a perfect tavern. 9 out 10.
