User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe have been going into Scamps since it opened in 2006. It is our favorite place in the area, being more upscale than the other clubs in the area. The prices are more than fair, it is a great, friendly and fun atmosphere. Bartenders have turned over several times, and while we have had issues with some, the owners have worked to get the right employees and are all great now. There is always some activity going on. We highly recommend Scamps to all our friends for birthday parties (they REALLY do these up right!), celebrations, and just plain good times. WE ESPECIALLY LOVE THE KARAOKE, which is going on most nights!

It was nice until the bartender (off duty and drinking) that ocasionaly works there made a comment and I made a comment on the bartender currently working that she had an issue. Afer that they said they would call the local cops that they know and I would be busted before I got home. I am in management and was not out of line but was treated like a thug. All I got to say is if the local click is that thick then not only will the business not grow but unless you are in with the click you better be ready to pay some hefty fines because they are pretty thick in that area. My advise is to go anywhere but there. I have never been treated that badly but the one time the 2 bartenders (one working and one not) were in a bad mood could have cost me plenty. Take my advise and go anywhere but there.

Its fun on nights they have something going on. It is a good place to go in the afternoons if you are just wanting to go have a drink. Older folks in there mostly during the day. At night, if female...dont take in your handbag...put your stuff in your pockets...then everything will be ok....OH AND DO NOT RUN A TAB...pay cash as you go. Trust SOME of the bartenders...but not all...the night ones will get you!

I have had an issue with tabs at every bar on occasion. My husband will not run a tab ANYWHERE. When it happened at Scamps, I spoke with the owner and she resolved it to my satisfaction. She is more than fair and always gives the customer the benefit of the doubt. There is a fair amount of turnover in bartenders and this may be one of the reasons. If you prefer to run tabs, give them a chance.

and who are you because you sure cant have fun in a place what are always throwing people out just becauce they dont like them and trying to talk patronts into investing into the bar basicilly defrauding custumers out of money and not 10 20 dollers more like 2000 to 10000 dollers i hope at some point they get shut down for good its a very sorry place to go
