I found out that my A/C wasn’t working when I got home on a Tuesday afternoon. I called Vanderford Air and spoke with Robert (the owner) telling him about my situation. (My wife and I have two small children) Robert insisted on making sure he had a technician out the same night. Unfortunately the tech. found that my compressor had bit the dust (no pun intended) and it would need to be replaced. Robert called to even offer brining out a temporary/ portable unit to keep the house cool until repairs could be made. I thought this was an extremely generous gesture since it was already approaching 8:30 pm. He offered this before my wife and I had committed to patch, repair part of the system, or replace the whole thing since our house is turning 10 this year. We decided to replace the whole system since in the long-term it would pay for itself. We’ve had the new Carrier 16 SEER mulit-stage system with a HEPA filtration for almost two weeks now and the system runs quieter and the house is feels much less humid. Another items to note: Since most folks don’t have spare money lying around to replace their A/C, Vanderford Air offered 36 month, 0% financing for the majority of the purchase. We were able to get the Cadillac of A/C systems without breaking the bank immediately. We also have a service contract for one year and 10 years of parts warranty! I called other A/C places around Baytown and no one could come close to Vanderford air when it came to price, warranty, and customer service. Thanks Robert for everything you did for my family!! Glen, you did a great job too! Can’t wait to brag to my friends about how low my A/C bills are this summer!
if price your concern do not use them!!!!!!!!! wanting to use someone local i called them. twice the price for half the service. they use a bill by e mail and do not break it down.
