| About: | Blue Marble Java, an indie coffee shop located on West Pecan Street, is a fine establishment which should be given a try. The atmosphere in here is nice and warm, making it literally a relaxing zone. The seats are quite comfy centered by slightly high tables, while the windows are quite big enough to let the natural light play its role. The live music here is quite good as well mainly delivered by local artists. They have a good variety in the menu. One should try the coffee with steamed milk which holds excellent taste. Besides the coffees, there are sandwiches, salads, pastries, pies et al. The service here is up to the mark, not to mention the free Wi-fi connection and print-copy-fax facility available here. It's a friendly coffee shop to say the least. |

User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsGreat service. Went for tea but as with most coffee shops, they give too much water for a proper cup of tea. Also,it would benefit them to find a good baker for the pastries.

Coffee is good but they could definitely use different coffee cakes. The coffee cakes are always dry and don't taste as fresh and moist as other chain coffee stores. I don't think they make the deserts in house if that matters. Aside from that, their coffee is great and if you order a french press coffee, they bring you a small french press pot! Definitely support local businesses and go here instead of other national chains.

They chairs are very comfy and the other patrons are friendly too.It makes you feel you are sitting in your living room. They could do with a bit more dessert selections although the biscottis we had were very good. maybe even saved us from too much calories! LOL
