User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDon't know where the Yahoo name comes from because its called the "Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse." I agree with the prior comments that the sushi is very good although the night we were there we were eating Hibachi and the Sushi was slow in coming (of course that may have been due to the other six people at the table ordering like 40 Sushi items). Definately would recommend the place and I have eaten at many of these types of restaurants.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI come here every time I visit La Vergne. it has excellent sushi. The fish is fresh and delicious. Service is good. The place is clean. I eat sushi wherever I can and this is one I definitely like.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you are a Sushi fan, this is the place for you. Excellent! Probably the best I've had, and I've eaten a lot of Sushi at many places all over the US, and this one is practically in my back yard! I can't speak for the Hibachi, as I'm not a big fan of that, just Sushi. Excellent prices on lunch specials. For around $9 you can get 2 rolls (take your pick from a list)and a bowl of Miso. You can make it 3 rolls for around $11 The best spicy Tuna, and spicy Salmon I've ever had. Outstanding special rolls also. Try the Tennessee roll, or the Volcano. Mmmm GOOD!!!!! : )
