Melodic Music Studio

I have used the one time only help lesson as well as the monthly lessons and the teacher, Nicole is AWESOME!
In the one time help lessons I just needed help picking out a song for try-outs at school. When I signed up she told me to bring any ideas I had and a tape. She recorded the whole lesson so that I could go back and use the warm-ups or remember the advice she gave me. The lesson was very organized to get the maximum information and help in such a small time. She listened to my voice and gave me ideas that were new and really geared for my voice. I made the audition and even my choir director commented that I was doing better. That was when I called her back and asked to do monthly lessons.
Nicole asked me what I wanted to do yet kept me focused on things that helped me improve overall. In the time I have been with her she has continued to change the lessons and modify the songs and types as my knowledge and my capablities have grown. I never realized how much of the music theory stuff she was throwing in until my end of year choir evaluation I don't know who was more shocked my teacher or me.
I would recommend Melodic Music Studio as well as Nicole to anyone who want to have fun, grow, learn or get serious. Also, to any of those other instructors out there...who might read this, 60 bucks a half hour? Are you kidding me? And you don't even let me help choose the types of songs or tape it? Come on.
