I too researched spas in the Jackson area and came across The Skin District, I had not heard of them and decided to give them a try. I had just given birth the previous month and this was my first spa visit and I must say "I'M HOOKED!" Everyone was really nice from the time I got there. The ambiance was so relaxing and soothing, all your worries seem to disappear the moment you walk through the door.
I donât remember any names but I had a manicure, pedicure, facial, and massage. The manicure and pedicure was okay but everything else was great! I was nervous about getting the facial because Iâm a black woman and wasnât sure my skin care needs would be met but the facial left my face feeling very soft, smooth, fresh and glowing. I actually fell asleep and started snoring a little bit while receiving my facial (I was so embarrassed). I guess it was a combination of the dim lights, lit candles and fatigue from caring for a newborn âº.
My massage felt so good. I was still sore from child birth and to my surprise, the massage helped out with that.
The prices were also cheaper than the competition. I will definitely be going back and would recommend The Skin District to anyone. -

After researching all the spas in the Jackson area, I came to get my first ever facial at Skin District. It was such a wonderful experience that I will never go anywhere else but the Skin District. I already have my second appointment lined up! Jane took up so much time with me, and I could tell that she is a perfectionist. She gave me lots of great advice for keeping my skin beautiful, and I couldnt be more excited to start a new beauty regimen! My skin feels great and I cant wait to go back!!
