Seriously overrrated and overpriced. I just don't get the allure of this place at all! I've probably been there a dozen times for lunch (not my idea!) and have never been impressed with the food!
If you must go, the scallops are pretty good - but be prepared to spend $20 on 4 smallish scallops served over a little risotto. I'm a small/average sized woman and was still hungry after this petite portion. Still, its the best thing on the menu so just fill up on those weird biscuits.
Bristol Seafood Grill in the P&L district has wonderful ambience, has modern upscale decor, and has great food. It is a great place to have a drink and appetizers. The service was great as well. There were only two problems for our party of 9: the side dishes were not the ones we ordered so had to be brought out again and my steak was overcooked and had to be redone. The Lemon Risotto was heavenly, lemon infused green beans a great side & nice change from the typical asparagus at every restaurant, the lobster tail was wonderful. Stay away from the lobster bisque if you are used to great bisque as the taste was not on par and there was no lobster to be found in bowl. I rate it at 4 of 5 stars since we didn't get the right orders the first time, my steak had to be refired since it was overdone the first time, and the manager never came by to see how we were doing afterward.
I ate at the bristol on tuesday and it was amazing. the food came out and it looked perfect. and the service was just as good if not better, thank you jeremy for such a wonderful time. we will be returning and requesting jeremy for another good time.
