User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI always bought my appliances at Boulevard Electric, our little local store just down the street. They provided great personal service and installation and they knew their appliances. When they closed, I felt a little lost and more than a little concerned about having to deal with the big impersonal stores for appliances.
Surprisingly, I've been very pleased with Lowes with their appliance sales and installation...and their service contracts too. There is a guy at the Camden Lowes by the name of Larry. Larry knows everything about washing machines, I'll tell you what. I went in there armed with about 4 hours of research on various internet sites and Larry was able to tell me things about one of my candidate machines that I didn't know. I bought a front loader (our first) and got a good deal. The delivery guys were careful and polite and worked some magic to get that new machine down into the basement of my old house. Lowes...my new choice for where I buy my appliances....who'd a thought?
