I have had about 30 treatments from Dr. Ryoo and my neck/shoulder/back pains have significantly reduced. My case may differ from othersâ in that I did not have a car accident or work-related injuries. Rather, I had been suffering from pains and stiffness especially on my neck and shoulders from my bad posture, which led to a headache especially after standing/walking for a while. During my college time, I had a bad pain on my lower back and my school doctor said my symptoms were exactly like the ones from spinal disk herniation, except that she couldnât find any disk damages â thus, the cause of my lower back pain was not discovered and left untreated.
These experiences made me want to try out chiropractic treatment and I searched a few places online. Then, I found Dr. Ryooâs practice because, based on the reviews and her website, I learned that her patients were happy with her treatment, she can take care of insurance claims for patients, and she gives great deals on her treatment. Her initial check-up including X-ray and follow-up counseling based on X-ray was only for $20, while another place I found charges $99!
My experience has been as great as other reviewersâ, if not better, starting from my first visit. During the initial check-up, I explained to Dr. Ryoo on my shoulder and neck pains but forgot about the lower back pain, as I had not had much issue with there for a while. However, she did find that something was going on with my lower back without any hint from me just by touching the bones and muscles around there â it was a good sign that she knows what sheâs doing.
Over the last 30-ish treatments, my conditions improved a lot. Her treatment starts by relaxing shoulders and back muscles by using electric patches. Then he uses a tool called âactivator.â I was initially skeptical about how effective the tool is, but to my surprise, over the last few months, my spine was pushed inward â my spine used to be sort of sticking out, now I feel two sides of back muscles are better supporting my spine. She also adjusts my neck manually. During the first couple of times, I did get startled with the noise my neck made with her manual adjustment, but it works! Her place has great massage therapists as well. Chiropractic treatment coupled with massage therapy is a fantastic combination. Now my pains and soreness are much less, and I have not had a headache coming from my neck/shoulders.
In conclusion, Dr. Ryoo is highly recommended if you are in a market for a chiropractor who can provide effective treatment. She gave me a terrific package deal and now my coworker also receives her treatments with me=)

My experience has been wonderful starting with the receptionist she is always in good spirit and always greeting you with a smile. One thing I have really liked that is the Dr. Ryoo is a hands on doctor dealing with all issues in the office and willing to listen to your concerns.
When I first interviewed with Dr. Ryoo she told me of her servive and care and she also mentioned her therapeutic masseurs that she had on hand to help me with my problem she said that they would concentrate on my problem and deal directly on that issue. Let me tell you they have specially Andrea she is great, I can concider myself a expert on massages since for many years I will go get one at least once or twice a month and she is one of the best. Not so much a relaxation massage but more of a therapeutic masseur which is what I was looking for to help me with my pain I have on my hands do to stress on my upper shoulders.
I definitely give this office in all fields a 5 star.
