I also think that it's really sad that the negative reviews have been posted and those families had such a poor experience at Portrait Innovations. Maybe it wa sthe time of year? Maybe it was just the staff that was working that day. WE HAD AN EXCELLENT SESSION!! And I really could not say enough goo dthings about this place. There is a lovely sitting area and enough room to move around, let kids play, etc. They are tolerant and very understanding of children and their needs. The dressing/changing rooms are nice, bathroom clean etc. and we only had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning to get going w/ the photographer. The woman who took our pictures was very sweet and made both my daughter, 4 years old, and son, 9 years old, laugh. She took great pictures and at the end, was very flexible and cooperative with the budget I gave her. She helped me pick sheets of pictures and explained pricing, even gave me 2 extra collages for free! When i flat out told her that I couldn't spend so much, she adjusted the prices foe me! While waiting for our pictures, we took a short walk and visited the grocery store next door and when we returned, the pictures were ready for us in a nice thick folder to carry them out in. I love this place and would reccomend them. We have used Sears, Herff Jones and a personal friend for pictures but none of them compare to Portrait Innovations.

It's too bad that the people who wrote the negative reveiws had such a bad experience. We had pictures taken when our child was three and a half months and again at six months and the experience was not horrific. The quality of the pictures were considerably better than the private studio we went to near our home. We got great shots and excellent quality. We had four clothing changes and the experience was still very good. No doubt there are a lot of people there whenever you go. It is a very busy place. The person who amused our child and got her to laugh was excellent and not distracting. If you're not into the crowds get there first in the morning. If you can get there first on Sunday morning I would recommend it. The price was OK. It would have been nice to get a meaningful discount on the second visit.
