What a great place. Homey feeling to it as soon as you walk in the door. All you can eat fish fry on Friday was packed but worth the wait to get in (about 15 minutes). Everything came out quickly even with them being so busy and our reorders of fish were at the table within 4-5 minutes of placing the reorder. Had their white chocolate creme brulee dessert which was obviously homemade as it came in it's own ramekin cup. Highly recommend it!
Ate there on Sunday as we saw their sign for $0.50 Wings and Seafood Pizza. There were four of us and we decided to try the wings and the pizza and the stuffed mushrooms. Loved it all. The wings have a unique flavor, we ordered mild and also hot. It had a first taste of citrus and on the mild ones just a faint hint of bbq. The hot ones also had the citrus first taste but then the heat built on the backside and was very, very good. We weren't too sure about the seafood pizza when we ordered it but we'll be back for it again. We ordered the small lobster and shrimp pizza and what a great combination. The sauce was perfect. The stuffed mushrooms were a good size and they were stuffed with crab meat. They were great too.
BTW, they also offered happy hour all day long on Sunday and the beer was ice cold. Can't wait until they open up the outside as they were working on that when we were there too.
We'll be back!!
Friends of ours told us about this place. Went on Saturday and didn't have more than a 5 minute wait. Service was good and so was the food. I had the lobster dinner which was very good, very juicy and tender and not overcooked like so many restaurants have the knack of doing. Got the vegetable of the day and their fake mashed potatoes. I've had the cauliflower mashed before and liked them elsewhere but these were fantastic and had a lot of flavor. My husband had the Walleye Your Way. He ordered it with lemon pepper seasoning and grilled. He got the hush puppies and the onion bricklet. He loved it. We haven't had nor seen Walleye in Florida since we moved down here and it was great to see that a restaurant offers more than the typical Florida fish and seafood. We'll definitely be back as my husband also wants to try their Smelt Basket (another memory of up north).
