If there are some guys who are picky about their hair like I am, this is definitely a great place. The people are very professional and the cuts are as good as it gets. I go there the day before big events (weddings, big client meetings) etc...

Great salon - great atmosphere, not snooty nor too terribly expensive. Erik did a great job on my short hairstyle - I have been searching for a new salon since my old hairdresser moved and this is it! A GREAT SALON - I love my new hairstyle!!!!

I just got home from visiting Concept for the first time and am extremely pleased with the haircut Erik gave me! I went in with a mess of hair with no remaining style and no idea of what I wanted and left with a great cut for the summer.

The salon is modern, with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I had a male stylist who was not too talkative but I'm not that big on forcing conversation in those situations anyway. I thought it was a pretty good experience..

I went here for my haircut and I saw Erik, he was amazing! He was so sweet and new exactly what needed to be done with my hair. This is the best haircut I've ever had, it looks and feels wonderful.

I see Erik and he really listens to what I want. Olga works the reception desk but is *super* knowledgeable about products, how to apply them, what works for your hair type. I'd give Olga 5 stars alone!

After many many weeks of raves and raves of this place from my friends I really needed to try this place out.

I sat down and got Oksana who was very nice. I told her to do what she wanted and then proceeded to close my eyes and nap for the rest of the session. The head massage/shampoo/conditioning was heaven. I woke up to probably one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. I will be back very very soon.

The longest but also the BEST haircut I've ever gotten. My stylist was Oksana who just kept on going and going. First she sprayed my hair down with product after it had been shampooed. Then she cut but not just "cut"...it was very intricate. She's the MOST meticulous stylist ever. SHe put more product in my hair and blow dried which was a process...then she flat ironed...then she "checked" the hair cut by going over it strand by strand. The best!

I have been getting my hair cut by Sharon f, she is fantastic. She is a perfectionist and is excellent at what she does, with a great knack for understanding what it is you're asking for and giving you what you want.

After trying many different salons in many different neighborhoods (as a result of moving so often), I finally found my little salon family and I couldn't be happier.

I can honestly say that not only is everyone sweet, considerate and charming, but each has done an excellent job with me. My favorite stylist is Oksana , who seems to know exactly where to put each of the three highlights that make up my current look. I walk out of there feeling like a million bucks every time!

I love the people and I love their work, and I'll be coming back as long as I'm living anywhere near the Brooklyn area.

I just had Oksana do my hair. She's a wonderful lady and did a great job! She suggested I try a full highlight, instead of the partial I usually get because fall is supposedly coming. 'Oksana did a great job.

My girl, Oksana, is a great stylist. She's young, fun, and takes her time. Her specialty is hair color, so I must bore her because all I ever do lately is come in for trims. I had her lop my hair off for Locks of Love recently, and it's such a great, complimentary cut, I'm in love with it!

I walked in here and said to Oksana, "I want to look like I had a hair cut. None of this 1/4 inch off the end business!"

Definitely worth the money! Every time I come here, the attention to detail always impresses me, every hair is cut to fall right into place. They do great color as well. I have recommended Oksana to many people and everyone that went loved it. If you can afford it, definitely give it a try. Stylist Oksan is the best in my opinion!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on a whim. I have very short hair and it is hard to find stylists who can do a great short cut. The prices are reasonable, appointments are easy. Plus the salon is nice.

I'm a regular now and I highly recommend them, particulary to those ladies with funky short dos or those who might want one, Oksana is great!

Olga! I LOVE her! She's the only person there or anywhere i let touch my eyebrows. And shes so warm and friendly. i actually look forward to getting waxed and tweezed, thats how lovely she is!

This is a very nice salon, with good prices and quality service. I had my first appointment with Oksana last night and she did a great job. She listened to my needs (totally low-maintenance, don't use a lot of products, etc) and gave suggestions for the style of the cut. It looked lovely when she finished -- very sleek and polished. Very relaxing shampoo with nice-smelling products. I'll be back and send my friends .

I had gone to 5 other salons and left dissapointed each time. Finally, I tried this one and got exactly what I wanted!! It was a cute salon, reasonable prices, and had people that actually listed to me. I've finally received the compliements on my hair & coloring. I have found a place and plan to stick with it.

I cannot imagine having anyone - ever - touch my hair but my stylist, Oksana. She is the most amazing person!

Color, cut, style - all rock. My hair suddenly went curly a few years ago after being pin-straight my entire life .. Oksnaa took it all in stride and made it work for me. I constantly am changing my color and she has gently steered me away from some of my crazier ideas and toned the rest down to actual be super cute. I've never had a stylist that listens so well and suggests things that work for me.

Oksana was great. This was my first time at the salon (after seeing the other great reviews on yelp) and it was a great experience.

I am very particular about my hair and it usually takes a couple times for a stylist to get it how i like it but Oksana nailed it on the first go. She was pleasant and meticulous (not to mention cute) and I will certainly be returning for my next cut!

A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! I am soooo HAPPY I found Oksana. The staff works to treat you like royalty, considerate of your needs and eager to offer you coffee and make you comfy.

My hair has always been wavy/curly. John's dry cut shaped it into a head of curls - all natural, and healthy looking. She is a gifted artist who does ALL TYPES of har.

For me I never knew how to care for curly har so I blew it dry and I thought it looked o.k. NOW well... Oksana taught me how to care for my hair and what not to do.

I love my easy care cut.. I tell everyone to go try Concept day spa. I highly recommend it.

Never in my life did I think I could have such a versatile do. I have never written an online review before in my life, but this place is deserving of telling more than just close friends. Enjoy!!

When it comes to hair... Oksana is my hero! Out of all the salon I've been to, Concept is definitely the best! Not only does Oksana knows how to make my hair look good, but she also knows how to make me feel good about my self too. She doesn't just cut my hair but she also cuts it and makes it look "ME" by fitting it with my personality. Every time I walk out of the salon I feel pretty and good about my self and this gives me more confidence. I know it might sound cheesy to others, but it is important to me. Another plus too, they understand that we are normal people who don't have a hairdresser at home, so they actually take their time to explain to us how to maintain our hair at home in a simple way.

Oksana made my mistake of a haircut from another local salon into exactly what I wanted.
It went from sloppy and disconnected too sexy, rockin' roll kitten.
Not only that but I was treated in a far more respectful manner than I was at the previous salon.
I highly recommend Her!

Great new place! I was the second client Oksana had and she does an awesome job. I wish she'd been around before I shaved my head. I have really curly hair and from what I hear she does a great job. She's really nice and always ready to give suggestions!

I've been going to Oksana now. I'm so happy I found her. I can just tell her "do whatever you think will look best" and totally trust her. My hair looks fabulous for days after I've gotten a fresh wash, cut and blow dry.

I've been seeing Oksana -- through short hair, medium hair and, now, trying to get to long hair. She ALWAYS gives a great cut! I've also experimented with color and she's never gone wrong. She's also quite unpretentious.

Anyone who says they wouldn't recommend this salon is crazy! You can get your hair cut and colored for $10 anywhere but if you want style and attention to detail and fabulous atmosphere then you pay for it. You want to pay cheap then you get cheap service. And you can't beat that they are open 7 days a week and until 8pm almost every day! Oksana recently just saved my hair from a disastrous box color that I ruined my hair with.

I've had my hair cut and dyed by Oksana. As someone with very thick, wavey hair, it's very hard to get a good cut or a dye job that stays in for more than a few weeks. Thankfully, I can get both here!

This place is great. Olga did a great job with my waxing. She made me feel comfortable and she was very professional. A very relaxing atmosphere.

I had such a great experience here last night that I'll for sure be going back again soon. The place was so clean and the manis/pedis were great. They were fast and good and cheap. Everyone there was so nice. This place is great - I highly recommend!

The best bikini wax!!! Ive been all around the city in search of a less painful bikini wax that still looks good. FOUND IT!! Here they use a differnt method than the normal wax, strip, rip! Im hooked. Oh, and the staff is always nice at the front desk

I have been here a few times for nails/eyebrow waxing. I would go back for the mani/pedi combo. Olga is great!

This is my FAVORITE place to get manicures/pedicures.

They are CLEAN (MAJOR bonus points in my eyes).
They are great at what they do and do the job carefully.
Decent prices... deals on certain days makes it even better!

I can't complain- I've invited nearly all my friends to Galina and she is very good. I was in dire need for a good facialist who can clear away my guck and have my face shining again and she did it! She saved many a faces and always better than spending a fortune with no luck. Awesome lady.

I am a little scared of waxing because of bad experiences in the past. So, I booked an appointment with Olga this past weekend, and she was wonderful! She is so professional and so friendly. The bikini wax itself came out perfect - not a stray in sight. And it wasn't even very painful at all (ok, maybe the first yank hurt a bit, but not after that!). Anyway, I would definitely recommend her. I'm never going to another person for waxing. Only Olga

Got a brazilian with Galina after a recommendation from a friend. AMAZING! She'd just won Best of world at the time and I can see why. Waxing has so much potential to be awkward, but Galina kept me busy talking about unrelated things. She's very knowledgeable and this was probably the least painful wax I've ever had.

If you're looking for a real no-nonsense massage, ask for Mark. He's incredible with his hands and sweet as sugar!! He listens to where you need extra care and finds spots you didn't know were sore. That's the sign of a great professional!

Listen, I hate my hair- well I hate my hair in New England anyway. It's curly and the humidity here kills it BUT the stylists at Concept day spa are somehow able to tame my unruly curls into some semblance of do that doesn't make me look like I just came out of a wind tunnel!

I got my hair cut by Oksana last week and I love it! I haven't had this many compliments on a haircut in years. She knew exactly what to do with my big old mess of a haircut and made it shine. Yea!

OKSANA is a great stylist and when I brought my poor hair into her along with a photo of how I wanted it to look like, she was honest and said that I wouldn't walk out of there that day looking like that but if I stuck with her she could fix the color. Which she has done perfectly!

I always like this place. The price is reasonable, everyone is very friendly, and the three cuts and one color I have had there have always been carefully executed.

Concept day spa was my last stop in my neverending quest to find the best haircut I could get for my money. Erik is great! He always gives me exactly what I want, and is very friendly and works efficiently. I only get my hair cut every 3-4 months, so I always ask for a layered do that "grows out nicely" and he always manages to give me that. I would go back there more often, but I need time in between cuts to let my hair grow back :-)

Oksana is a hair-cutting God! The best cuts I have ever had. As long as I live in this area, I will have my hair cut by Oksana.

Erik's a nice guy, very tasteful and interesting to talk to. He made my head feel three pounds lighter without taking off much length--it was amazing. I have fine-yet-thick hair, and it was weighing my style down. Now, it's light and fun and still doesn't require much work. I liked it so much, I came back for a color today. I had crappy highlights that needed to go away, so I went back to my natural color. The staff looked at me as I exited the salon today, and they all said, "Very nice!" as I walked out. That was kind of a surreal moment. I didn't understand exactly, but I get this feeling of being pampered when I'm there. And who doesn't like being the center of attention?

I am always happy w/Oksana for color. She does an amazing & thorough job. I recommend her to all my friends. The location is very convenient. I find the staff to be professional and I can't get enough of their 'please don't stop' head massages they give when they wash your hair.

Had my hair cut by Oksana. The best cut ever. She took a ton of time to fix problems from my last cut, actually listened to me, and made sure it was just what I wanted. So great cut, great price, and on top of that, she's very nice!

My friends and I came here early on a Sunday to get or hair done and, while most salons are closed at this time, they were absolutely amazing with us. GREAT FOR: blowouts- Erik was really great, the blowout felt fresh the next day too.

NOBODY handles my hair quite so well as Oksana. Oksana seems to know how to cut and color and treat myhair, with superb skill that could only come from years of experience.

Erik here rocks. I've been going to him about a month and a half and he is the best stylist I've ever had. He's always able to come up with something new that I like, and when I come in with ideas, he's totally honest about whether or not they will work with my hair type (fine & straight). I always love the haircuts he gives me, and I've also gotten beautiful natural-looking highlights a few times. People always compliment me on my haircuts and ask where I got it cut.

They do a great job to put it mildly. The service is fabulous. The staff is superb. They accomodate you in any way possible. They have great hair treatments that work wonders. Several of my friends have gone and have left completely satisfied. They are very honest with you. Always suggesting what is best for your hair. Never too pushy.Did I mention I am headed there tomorrow and excited as the experience will be rejuvenating, exceptional, and predictably perfect!

When I called to make the appt at Concept day spa, their receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She got me in with Oksana. Oksana was excellent, I left there very very happy with my highlights and cut. I highly recommend this salon. it's a fun hip place that has you leaving with pretty hair.

seriously. Erik is a hair GENIUS. I can't remember the last time I got such a fantastic cut and color (I have long hair that's now layered with a gorgeous warm blonde color). I usually leave a salon a little disappointed. Not this time. I walked down the street expecting everyone I passed to stop and ask me where I got my hair done. I looked for ages to find the right place salon. Let me save you the effort. Go here. Wow. Wow. W.O.W.

I live around the corner from Concept day spa and since they have been open, I have been walking past it though never thought to give it a try.Oksana gave me a great blowout that looked just as good the next day! I am going to try them for color !

I highly recommend Erik! I had booked an appt with him for a haircut. While at my appointment, I was complaining about a recent very bad highlight I had gotten in an attempt to add blond back into my colored brown hair. Instead of bad mouthing the other stylist (which is what I expected) he told me exactly what I should say to him to have it fixed into the color I wanted. Because of that, and how happy I was with my cut, I decided to book the color correction with him too. He did an unbelievable job. He really listened to what I wanted and I could not be happier with my color. I normally don't like to recommend hair stylists for fear that someone will be disappointed but I have no reservations saying you should book an appt. with him, he was great! Cute salon too.

I and my friend had our hair styled here, and we both walked out pretty pleased with the end results. I didn't have a photo of a style I wanted with me. I just told my designated hairdresser what I wanted -- the rest was up to the her, I mean Oksana. She ended up wrapping my hair up in a way that I never would have imagined. She did a great job. I'd be back here in no time to try out their other services.

I love the first class treatment you recieve here. They really make you feel like you're someone special. I also love their ability to color hair. I usually like to get outrageous unnatural colors, and they are one of the few salons I have found that are willing and know how to do this. They are also great at cuts and styling. They have a full service nail salon for manicures and pedicures, as well as full body waxing available.

Erik is a master at his craft and this is the first time I have felt safe when my stylist hands me to a colleague to apply color or blow dry. He is meticulous in his cutting and attentive to his patrons. The front desk staff is superb. They are professional and welcoming. The products used to style are explained to you so you don't get home and wonder what's what. Yes, you do get what you pay for, especially when it comes to your hair.

I love this salon! Erik rescued my chin length hair (it was looking a little too harsh and triangle-y) and gave me a professional yet stylish cut that I love.

I saw Oksana in Concept day spa. My hair cut was very, very good... perhaps too good, because it is now and I finally feel that I need to go back and have it shaped and cut again. I have mad crazy curly hair, and usually the growing-out process is a painful one for me. In this case, though, it's been very painless. I'm looking forward to going back and I hope my second haircut is as good as the first.

This salon is super sweet. I am a simple girl when it comes to salons. Just cut my freaking hair. No color, no treatments, just cut. I am usually really bad about getting my hair cut because i never knew where to go. So i found this place on a rainy day when my hair was looking a mess, and they managed to fit me in for an appointment only an hour later. I had an appointment with Erik, a super friendly and engaging stylist who confidently brought my hair back to life. He didn't even try to get me to purchase any products, bonus. Overall, this salon actually has me going back every 8 weeks or so...and my hair has never looked better!

I have been going to Erik for two months, he is wonderful. He does the best cut and listens to exactly what I want....I love the massage chairs also....it is greeeat!

I had been pretty neglectful with my hair for almost a year when my mom threatened to exclude me from a family wedding if I didn't get my hair cut... I have long, relatively fine hair and I'm very picky about the cut, especially the shorter pieces in the front. I've had a number of disaster haircuts where my "sweeping bangs" request has ended up with shot flat bangs across my forehead. Oksana understood exactly what I wanted and invited me back for a quick trim any time I felt that the front pieces were getting a bit too long. I would recommend Oksana's services to anyone.

Treat yourself to a fabulous haircut at a friendly and trendy salon. Upon descending into the salon, you feel welcome already. Master stylist Erik will listen to your desires for your hair, then give his suggestions. After a shampoo, the haircut begins with extreme precison. When I leave there, my hair swings and shines. I turn a few heads on the street each time I walk back to my car! After shampooing at home, I almost don't need to blow dry the cut. The layers fall in place, wisps around my face...so sexy and stylish.

I've been getting my hair cut by Erik at Concept day spa for a while now, and i must say, he's the best stylist/colorist i've ever been too. My hair always comes out awesome and if I'm not sure about what i want he always has ideas tailored to me. He really knows how to cut hair but his skills as a colorist are where he really shines. Having recently moved here I was looking for a good stylist and boy did I find one! Oksana is awesome. I can't remember the last time I've received so many compliments on my style/hair. The staff was very friendly, each stylist ask if I wanted or needed anything. I am definitely going back so if you're new to town and need a good hair hookup, run, don't walk. I'm really happy! They get a 10 for me. Overall, I can't wait to go back! I look fantastic!

This salon has been such a life saver. I am so particular about my hair (only two people have cut it prior to Erik). However, I have been so lucky to find Erik. I have wavy, thick, Asian hair that can actually be really difficult to deal with, and I love that Concept day spa is so great at handling a range of different hair types. It is also a super friendly environment. I love going to this place because not only do I know that my hair is going to look great, but I also look forward to catching up with everyone there.

I have been going to Concept Day Spa salon for a little while now, and I have to say that I absolutely love their products, and I have never had a bad haircut there. I really liked the atmosphere here and I'm so glad I went in. My stylist, Erik, was incredibly helpful, very easy to talk to and just great in general. I felt like he knew what he was doing and I could just relax and enjoy the really great music and fun people in the salon.

Nobody has ever understood my hair better than Erik at Concept Day Spa. Awesome blow-dry, Awesome cut, Awesome colour. And that whole stress relieving massage before you wash deal, can't beat it.

After going to several expensive hair salons for over five years, I decided to go to Concept day spa since my BF Molly has a great/fun haircut and has been going there for a while now. Ever since I decided to break up with my straight male hairdresser, I have never regretted it! Erik is not only funny and cool, but cuts hair better than anyone I've encountered. And for the price (they definitely under charge in my opinion)....it's even more amazing.

Oksana is great! She was wicked friendly, and we're almost the same age, so we got along great. She did an amazing job, and did exactly what I asked her to do.

Last friday was looking to be a pretty bad day, that is until i went to Concept day spa. I had a long day at work, stuck in the worst traffic of my life, in a rain storm and my wipers stopped working. To top it all off I was late for my appointment. From the moment Oksana greeted me, my stress began to melt away. She listened to what I wanted and was excited about my haircut. I got a deep conditioning treatment and she gave me the best scalp massage ever. She was a lot of fun and I was so glad to be there. To top it off, she gave me the "dopest haircut of my life", as she promised. Its tuesday now, and I'm still staring at my hair in the mirror because it looks that good. when im not staring in the mirror at it, im getting compliments on it. I will never go to another stylist again.

Well, welll, well. I like this salon. I've tried so many different salons in brooklyn. Mostly i visited very expensive famous salons. I can't say i was always satisfied. But then my friend recommended to visit Concept Day Spa. Prices here are reasonable. The service is very good and the atmosphere perfect!

A wonderful place! A very cool one! I like it here. It's not far from my home and i go there as often as possible. Just because of the atmosphere. And people working there. They are very professional.They all like their job. I myself am a loyal Oksana's client. She is really great at what sh's doing. she did a blowdry for my sister for one special occasion. And from then she has 2 permanent clients: my sister and me.

The Best Hair Cut/Stylist of my life!!!!!This is the best salon I have ever been to!
