My husband and I eat at the Pier all the time. It's one of our favorite restaurants in the area, including New Orleans and Covington/Mandeville! The fried seafood is done the way it should be and the specials are awesome. The big screens make it a great place to watch the game, too. BTW, I've NEVER seen minors drinking there. The older you get, the younger people seem!!

My experience at Pier One-Twelve was horrible. There were several CLEARLY underage people drinking at the bar accompanied by whom I can only assume is the owner. The entire time I was there I did not see a single waitress ask to see anyone's ID who they were serving alcohol. The food was mediocre and was too pricey for the portions they served. The service was less than fair. The atmosphere and the prices do not match. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You would have a better experience at Mariner's Inn across the street.
