About:	Pappy's makes no apologies. Their Memphis style barbecue, with the meat as the main attraction and the sauce as a perk, brings in meat mavericks from all over the city. Located near SLU's campus and frequented by famished students, Pappy's has become such a popular attraction that the kitchen sells out every night, so closing time varies. On weekends, don't risk waiting until the evening to get a fix because you may go home disappointed. With a reasonably priced menu and pure, uncut fully flavored meat by the platter or the pound, dieters need not even bother. Pappy's may be single-handedly responsible for the freshman 15 around these parts.

We had lunch at Pappy's before a Cardinals game July 30th. The ribs were spectacular!! We had sweet potato fries, baked beans and cole slaw as our sides they were okay. The service is very fast, as in our food was ready before we had goten our drinks.
Could have used a cold beer to go with them but we can survive without it.
Great place for families - very casual, picnic tables inside, we could use a place like this in St Paul, MN

Very yummy! A great place for a quick and easy dinner. Wonderful sandwiches and ribs! We will be back there!

So glad we found this place..meat is not covered in sauce..it doesn't need it! Best in St Louis that is for sure!
