User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI used to go to Nucklehedz all the time and love it. Recently, the resturant was sold to a new owner and the food is now repulsive! This past weekend I went in with a group and the whole experience was terrible. First I ordered hot chocolate, when the waitress brought it over it had been made with cold water and she didn't mix it so it was a pile of powder on top of cold water with no whipped cream. When I told her it was cold she took it put it in the microwave and then poured it into a new cup, she spilled a good bit of it and handed me a cup that was half-full. Then I ordered Eggs Benedict and when it arrived, the hollandaise sauce was separated, as in there were big yellow clumps of curdled goop floating in butter and oil. Everyone at my table was DISGUSTED. The owner came over to ask how everything was, and I pointed out that the hollandaise sauce had separated and she told me in a very condescending manner that hollandaise sauce was supposed to look like that. She said that it was because there was so much butter in the sauce and when she REHEATED it, it separated. I could not believe it, she was essentially telling me that she was feeding me leftovers that had been made in one of the previous days. Everyone knows who cooks hollandaise sauce that you have to serve it fresh or it separates (think leftover fettucini alfredo the next day...) I was completely horrified that she was serving me bad food and telling me that it was supposed to be like that. The food was ROTTEN, it should have been thrown out, it was separated and curdled, and she served it anyway and gave me attitude when I pointed it out. ALL 5 of us at the table were disgusted and will NEVER eat there again, although I can't imagine she will be in business very long.

Been there alot..mostly go for the breakfast great place to bring the little ones. mine love to eat all the jelly's.food is pretty good and not over price like alot of other out there..great to have them around....

NuckleHedz Restaurant and Tavern is definitely NOT run by knuckleheads. Great food, clean, great prices. You can't do better than NuckleHedz for good food and the bands are great, too.
