This is the most wonderful "find" in the Hill Country. Just minutes from San Antonio but a great "get away", there's inside and outside dining, live music on the weekends, great food, friendly service and a secret BBQ sauce recipe to accompany their wonderful choice of meals. Reasonably priced and relaxed atmosphere make it a favorite for locals.
I have a horse stable operation, Doringcourt Stables, located just minutes away from many restaurants and we seem to all want to spend our time at Buck and Ozzy's. It's not ONE thing that draws us there, it's ALL the things they have to offer. We're always greeted as "the horse people" and they treat us as if we're the only customers they have . . . .which is sooooo far from reality. On the weekends and at lunch hours during the week it gets a bit crowded, but they seem to keep a smile on their faces and welcome us and still have a minute to make us feel special. Don't often find that and good food combined. It's worth the drive if you're not close. Located on Hwy 46 east of Hwy 281 approximately 3 miles up the road. Casual and fun. Hope to see you there. Chris

I could not have said it better. Our family and friends keep going back, the reason is good food, friendly people, and a atmosphere that can't be beat!
