I dined at the garlic and the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent; in todays economy it is pretty difficult for a new restaurant to judge the price of food before they even buy it.
While the economy may be an issue in pricing, a commitment is far more important. Promises made to customers and employees truly show what kind of business person you are let alone what kind of human you are.
I am a bridesmaid in a Bridal Shower that was booked at Garlic. It was booked before they opened and they agreed to a particular price for the 45 person party. After they opened and were doing good business, they went back on their word and raised the price per person ( 3 weeks before shower - after the invites had gone out!) We were forced to find another location. I am HORRIFIED that the restaurant had gone back on their word to provide the service they originally agreed upon at the original price. It's unfortunate for the owners that the lack of regard for customers will learn the hard way what it means to be in the restaurant business. If their service keeps up like this... there will be no restaurant. All 45 bridal shower guests live in the Marshfield area and now know why they got a frantic phone call from the Maid of Honor changing the location. I will never step foot in the place after what they did to my best friend, the bride!!!!!!!

As an employee I'm not quite sure as to what you mean by youâre above statement. Tom and Laurie and the most gracious, and kind people I have worked for. They have a fantastic crew, who I believe truly care. So your attack on their character in my eyes is unwarranted and unprovoked. I hope you find happiness .........'Unhappy'
5/22/08 Had dinner at The Garlic last Saturday. First time ther and we all loved it. The food was wonderful, the service was great, even though they were very busy. In my opinion and owner who comes to your table, introduces himself, and sincerely wants to know how our dinner was is a great business man. We will be going back, quit often as we live just down the road. Hats off to The Garlic. This end of town needed an excellent restuarant!
