User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSweet Fanny Adams is an Irish pub & restaurant. They have a beautiful, well-stocked bar. The food is excellent. It ranges from sandwiches (great reubens!) to prime rib. There are also varied weekend specials like coconut shrimp, chicken mole, etc.
It is cozy and very friendly. There's a tavern area, a pool room, a comfortable lounge area by the fireplace, and a large dining room, They have music every Friday & Saturday nights - it ranges from Celtic to bluegrass to blues to Americana to.....
It's a great place to have a meal, a drink & hang out. I can't believe how friendly it is. And, there's lodging on site also, so you can make a night of it: eat, listen to music, and walk next door to your lodging. (cheaper than a DUI!) The lodging is called the Bailey Lodge and it is great, too - spacious, cozy mountain lodging.
At this point they are only open Thur., Fri., & Sat., from 5 p.m. on. They might expand their hours in the summer. NEW phone number: 303-816-9464

Now there is a new Chef in town, that will only make the experiance that more special. I heard that soon, this place will be opening from just week ends to a Wed. through Sunday. When I talked to a few locals they said the Sunday brunch was always a great week end topper. As I enjoyed their great food, I felt it to be close to 5 star quality food with 3 to 4 star prices. their protions were more than generous compared to many other establishments I have visited. and the staff went out of their way for all their customers, Not just the spceial ones!!! This is a must see for any travelers heading to the mountians or coming home from a long week end!!!
