Camp Discovery Summer Science Camps

This was my first year using Camp Discovery and I loved it! My children always came home with a story or a tale and, best of all, were tired! There was plenty of activities to keep them interested and wanting to come back. The staff were always friendly and helpful! Latasha rules! I would suggest this camp to anybody. I plan on seeing Latasha and her staff for many years to come!!

My daughter is a middle school student and as any parent of a middle schooler knows it is VERY hard to find an affordable day camp during the summer. Camp Discovery provided a safe environment and enrichment. My child had an opportunity to learn how fun science is. She acquired mentoring skills by assisting the younger children with their assignments. I am glad that the camp will be available this summer because I will be utilizing La'Tasha's services!

Latasha, the Director, was very helpful and always timely with emails and in returning phone calls. She always had time to talk to a parent regarding concerns that you may have had. Her staff was as friendly as she was and took time with each child. I loved to talk to my daughter every day to see what project they were working on for the week. I wanted my daughter to enjoy her summer but continue to learn as well. I was very pleased to find such a Sumer Camp that believed in this. I can truly say that I can see an improvement in her studying this year. I do owe a lot of that to Latasha and her staff. They made each child feel important and even when we see one of them since school has started they ask her how is she doing in school. I have never seen my daughter so excited about getting up and going to learn during her summer vacation. I have recommended the camp to others.
