Simple menu, but everything we've tried has been delicious! Eggs and hash browns, omelettes, and REALLY good French toast. Coffee is good, as are the espresso drinks. Haven't been there for lunch yet...Service is warm and personable.
Very good breakfast, generous portion of eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Free refills on the hot tea, served as fresh glass and fresh tea bag. Treated like a king by the staff. They serve breakfast all day. Free wi-fi worked perfectly. Quiet.
This restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago and currently is only open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is small, but it was refreshing to not have 500 items to choose from. I ordered a "basic" egg breakfast and it was the best egg breakfast I have had in a long while. My over-medium eggs actually arrived over-medium, the hashbrowns were traditional shredded hashbrowns that were nice and crisp on the outside and not too greasy. I ordered my bacon crispy, and it came out that way. You could tell the ingredients were quality and the chef was not an novice. I also ordered an espresso and was very impressed at the quality, it was quite smooth. The only odd part was that the dining chairs were on wheels and the floor was hardwood, so when they start serving dinner and the bar opens up they may have to ditch the wheels or get some carpet. Also, the owners were very nice. This is a welcome addition to Belmont where you alternatives are an old stuffy restaurant like Iron Gate or a dive like Little Belmont Cafe.
