User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy wife and I are both chefs and we have owned our own restaurant in the past. I have now eaten at Milts at least 15 times since we have moved to Kyle four months ago. It is stil the best food I have eaten anywhere. The best bar b que hands down. The food is always consistent(consistently good) and the staff are always very friendly. I know from experience in the business that every food est can have a bad day but I havent seen Milts yet. If you want excellent bar b que then go to Milts. You owe it to yourself to treat yourself and family to a very good meal, you wont be sorry.

One of the best in Central Texas, Don't let the shack on the side of the road fool you. Milt's is the best in the Buda, Kyle,and San Marcos area. And the people are very friendly

Kyle, TX is located in the Middle of a number of great BBQ joints from the Salt Lick in Driftwood to the BBQ Capital of Lockhart. The best spot I have found is a small little BBQ joint called Milts located on the IH-35 access road in Kyle. I have now eaten there 5 or 6 times and every time the food is Awesome. Great Ribs, Excellent Brisquet, Incredible Sausage.... and even Wonderful Sides. This is IT! Don't drive through Kyle with giving Milts Pit a Try!
