Let's see, I'll start with the positives. The service was friendly and the food was at a very good price.
The negatives. The decor was tacky and the food was the quality of what you paid for.
I'm not sure about the individual that said that they had eaten Mexican food from across the country, but this food is definately not the top. It is average, cheap, and worth the price you pay for it.
Summary:
If you like cheap mexican food at a great price...this is the place for you.
If you want quality mexican food try El Charros on the Blvd. and then El Charros near Wal-Mart. There are several Mexican restaurants in the area that are not large restaurants, but small, locally run businesses. I'm sure that they have good quality food, but I have not tried them.
If you want top of the line Mexican food I suggest you try Abuelo's in Tulsa, Oklahoma or a nearby location.
One of the tops in the country...where do these people come from? Sheesh!-

El Pueblito is an outstanding and authentic Mexican restaurant, excellent food at very reasonable prices. I have eaten Mexican food from California to Texas and everywhere else and this food is tops among them all.

caliber restruarant "El Publito" in Neosho
Mo. They have moved to the "old" Pizza Hut
building on the main drag and are even better
yet with additional food items. Try it once
and you will definitely go back.
