Great Food. Bit noisy and not so elegant, but the food tastes are excellent. Background jazz sounds is a bonus, however the restaurant had to clear out a bit before you can hear it. We went for dinner and ordered from the "Tastings" menu. Our waiter, Chris, said that the selections were small but filling for $25 per person. He was right and quite a good waiter as well. He guided us through some excellent selections. We had their 6-oz Petit Filet with roasted garlic; and the Wood-Fired King Salmon. Both dishes were served perfectly. Sides included Pancetta Brussel Sprouts, Creamed Spinach and Asparagus. Each side dish was plentiful and deliciously prepared. The Caeser Salad was a bit skimpy, but tastes good as well. Desserts ... small but just right ... Macadamia Nut Brownie, Sorbet and best of all was Coconut-Pineapple Panna Cotta (Flan-like). The Tastings also includes 2 glasses of wine per person, and the wines are quite good. You definitely get your money's worth here.
Best steakhouse in South Florida. It blows away the competition. Everything is made to order with only the finest ingredients....and it shows. They were crowded when we arrived but the hostess sat us down very quickly and the wait staff were true professionals. They took our drink order and helped my friend through the extensive wine list. We were served our food promptly. Everybody at my table enjoyed their steak immensely. The sea bass was the best that I have ever tasted. The New York strip seemed to be our tables favorite. My wife loved the decor and ambience. She felt it was friendly and less intimidating than most steakhouses. Their menu was amazing; they had everything from cheeseburgers to foie gras. Anybody that enjoys a fine dining experience with great food, great service, and great ambience will not be disappointed at Cut.
A local disaster. Makes one thankful for chain restaurants in south fla, at least they know what they are doing. A plus to this place is that at least it is low key and not stuffy. Not so plus is that it is narrow and cramped, and staff is un-polished. The food is too salty (desperate and amateur attempt to season...or, lets say, over-season) and although it tries to be imaginative (e.g. crab soup....blue cheese tater tots), which is something to applaud in its efforts, it comes across with bad execution and bad recipies. Very mediocre food....but if you live nearby, guess one does not have many choices.
