Picasso Day Spa & Salon

word of caution in reading these, I wonder if this place is writing the excellent posts, the dates of the bad are the same as the good, experiences don't very that much, buyer beware.

I was pretty disappointed with the pedicure I received at Picasso. It was my first time there, the place looked nice enough. I used the bathroom before my pedi and there was no soap to wash my hands. I informed the two desk people and they just said "ok". Did not get up to remedy the situation - not a classy "spa-type" response. My pedicure was so mediocre. Water was tepid... for $40, they just basically cut your nails and apply polish. I was informed that any "work" of my feet would require me to get the spa pedicure, which is like $55. I was hoping to be impressed, but was definitely NOT.

I called on Monday to schedule an appt for the same week, but whoever I spoke with scheduled me for the wrong month. So when I went in (30 minute drive there), I didn't have an appt. They were able to squeeze me in 30 minutes later with someone else, so I waited. I have a lot of hair and it's long, so it took awhile, but the lady was pretty nice despite constantly talking about extensions - which I don't need. After she washed my hair she asked the receptionist to call her ride and let them know she's ready... I thought that was weird. I ended up leaving the salon with wet hair - she didn't even dry it! I inspected my hair this morning and it's AWFUL! I have bleach spots that bleed on the lowlights and the color is 2 inches from the root in various places. It's so bad I am considering going somewhere else to get it fixed. I will NEVER go there again - what a waste of time and money. It is SO hard to have a good hairdresser and my search continues...
