User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been at this gym for two years now and been very happy with customer service and the equipment at the gym. I have been able to continually work toward my fitness goals, in a friendly hometown atmosphere. It is very much a do it yourself place without the haggling of the large chain gyms. However if you do need some assistance the staff of personal trainers are available for personal consultations or there is the option of multiple group classes. The gym itself is well organized and equipment is constantly maintained. The gym is a place to work toward fitness goals and i honestly believe that fitness zone is by far the best gym on the plateau, not to mention the addition of emerald city smoothie downstairs for all your nutritional needs.

Customer service sucks. everytime i go in there the older blonde lady ignores that i just walked in. i usually have to get her attention for her to sign me in and all i get is attitude. she makes me feel like i am dum for telling her my name to sign me in. when thats her job!!! i just think a little more respect is neccessary. I find most of the younger employees really nice and the one male trainer very funny. I think the main issue is the one employee. I just want to work out in a place where i feel welcome!

The owners of this place especially the lady are terribly rude. They show you no respect or intrest in you when you want to join. They stand there and give you attitude as if they were better then you. Im sorry but i have no respect for a disrepectful washed up body builder who took to many sterioids. If you plan to join just expect to be treated like crap. Dont expect to be greeted up front they have no customer service skills.

You're right about the "front" staff; however, I think it's the older women (only) who work in the morning. The high schoolers, in the evening have more basic greeting skills than the older A.M. women.
