The concession prices are way too high! ASO will not keep people coming back with those prices. I don't think people can afford it....
Great venue with fanatstic acoustics from the lawn section but thge place has major problems.
1) There are 4,000 lawn seats but only an inadequately amount of bathrooms. Only 16 porta potties behind the lawn section.
2) Absolutely NO food concessions behind the lawn section despite having ample room to have put some there. Everyone, including the other 8,000 patrons in the permanent seats have to cram their way into small sections on the sides.
3) Prices are too high. My wife and I already spent $ 130.00 + for lawn seats to see The Eagles on Saturday night. Then it's $ 7.00 for a beer !!! I thought I was at Turner Field or Phillips arena.
With gas going over $ 4.00 a gallon how does the ASO expect an entire family to be able to afford to go there.
3) I am handicapped and do not walk so well. There were NO accomodations in place in oirder for handicapped persons to board the shuttle buses to and from the venue. And on the trip back we had to walk several blocks to board the bus back to the remote N parking lots.
4) But the worst experience of all is the Hunk-A-Junk rental lawn chairs. Within 5 minutes of sitting in mine it collapsed underneatrh me. I would have expected the ASO to have contracted with a vendor who provided better and sturdier chairs after paying # 65,00 for a ticket. And mine was not alone. Within 50 feet of me we counted almost a dozen others that also collapsed. And the palce has only been open 3 days !!!!
At this attrtion rate there won't be any left after the first season. And the ASO risks some patron getting injured and sueing them.
Saw the Eagles concern there last night and the show was awesome. The people that work there were great. My only complaint was the seating in the front. They were fold up chairs crammed together and too many people are wider than the chairs. It made is super cramped and we ended up moving to the lawn to get a little breathing room.
