We were coming through town and pulled up on internet for a place to eat. We saw that several of the restaurants were pretty packed. We chose Hanging Tree. When we walked in we were amazed by the deer racks on the wall. Were told to find a seat. Waitress talked me into getting the buffet. My husband chose something off the menu. When I went to the buffet for my salad first (husband getting one also) All there was was lettuce, red onions and about 3-1 pieces of tomatoes. Asked for more was told there was none, mind you now the salad bowls were small. Looked towards buffet and the enchiladas were almost gone, chicken dried out, couple of egg rolls with dried rice, I was so disappointed I walked away. I was so upset I went outside. Husband followed and told me they had charged him $12+ for 2 small glasses of tea and the so called salads. We are always looking for different areas to eat around our home town. You can bet I will never go to Goliad to eat!!!!!!
