Spruce Moose Restaurant

Tues.Aug 26,2008 six older ladies entered the Spruce Moose Resturant at 11:15 a.m. to have lunch. (They were trying to avoide the lunch rush) The waitress came and asked what we would like to drink and left the menues) She returned in a proper amount of time,and took the orders. Soon the resturant was beginning to fill up with the lunch crowd. Several other tables were waited on by the waitress, and served their meal. It was 12:15 before we finally received our food (which was delicious) Many people had come and left. When we were ready to leave all of us did not have our bills. Another 15 minutes to straighten out the billing. It was after 1:00 p.m. before we were able to leave the resturant. I think Hanna was our waitress. This was not a pleasant luncheon experience and do hope this will not occur to any other groups of older ladies or any other guests. We would like to support our hometown busineses bgut almost 2 hours for lunch is TOO long.

The Spruce Moose has become one of my favorite places to eat at the lake. The staff is friendly, the food is outstanding and it is very reasonably priced. It's not too fancy but very nice and clean. They have a full bar and a great drink menu. I look forward to my weekly visit with my husband! Great!

Great! I was in for dinner last Saturday night with my husband and parents, we had a great time! We shared the Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetizer and I had the Tilapia which was perfect. We enjoyed a goats cheese cheesecake for dessert which was SO good!! I can't wait to go back!
