    this facility keeps inmates there long after they are sentenced to prison. My son has been there a whole year before sentencing and a year after sentencing. He has no idea when he will be transported to the prison that he is sentenced to.

    he may not even go to prison,may just get his number there...depending on his prison sentence how long he may have to wait.
