AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS

One of the worst automotive facilitities I have ever dealt with in my life...went for just a CLUTCH swap at this "transmission specialist" they incorrectly installed the clutch, ruining it , had my car for 1 month and still did not touch it after they screwed it up. Had the clutch manufacturer call them and discuss...they told them as did another AAmco that they did the work wrong, would not refund me, had to take it to another shop for another $1200 and have it fixed...they also know nothing about fixing anything else...they "thought the clutch was making nouise when it was the sepentine belt on the motor that was shredded and hitting everything in the engine bay...would not do anything to fix it and left the car outside with the key in it and said take it. when I filed a complaint with AAmco they would do nothing to help and when I called and filed with the BBB and the small claims court he called me at 11PM and threatended me and my family with violence if I did not ....Gary the owner this was.

WHILE HAVING WORK DONE TO THE CAR THE TECHNICIAN FOUND OTHER WORK WHICH NEEDED TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY. AFTER GULLABLY TRUSTING THE TECH., THE WORK WAS IMPROPERLY DONE. THE OWNER, GARY, AND THE MANAGER ON SITE KEPT TELLING ME TO COME BACK EVEN THOUGH THE WORK THEY SAID HAD TO BE DONE WASN'T OPERATING PROPERLY. SO HOW IMPORTANT WAS THE WORK. DID IT NEED TO BE DONE? THIS PLACE IS JUST ANOTHER PLACE IN WHICH FINDS OTHER WORK TO DO TO YOUR VEHICLE TO MAKE MONEY AND WHEN A MISTAKE IS MADE ON THEIR PART, THEY NO LONGER WANT TO KNOW YOU. EXPENSIVE...NOT TRUSTWORTHY...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!
