I first tried the food at Santa Fe when they first opened. The food is excellent!!! The employees there are so friendly and such hard workers! It has a home-like feeling where you can go out with the girls and unwind, have a romantic evening with that special person, or take the kids out for a treat! Anyone who visits Troy, AL this restraunt is a must!! Thank God Troy has a "REAL" place to go out and eat!!!! LOVE IT!

Though the prices are steep, the food is very good. I had the Lynchburg Steak which is a sirloin marinated in Jack Daniels. The menu said the steak was "choice" and I beieve it. It was very tender and flavorful. I wish I had gotten it medium rare instead of medium because it was a little over done. But it still tasted very good. The side of sauteed mushrooms were also very good. My wife got the salad with the sirloin on it and it was huge. My only complaint besides the very slow service was my salad was drowning in dressing. Make sure you ask for it on the side. Also, drink prices are very steep.

Update: Tried the southwestern pasta/chicken and it was nasty. The pasta and chicken were cooked ok, but the Alfredo sauce was very bland and tasted like it was made from one of those powdered mixes that come in a pouch at the grocery store.

One of the only decent restaurants in Troy!

The food is good and the prices are reasonable! If you're going on a date and absolutely must stay in Troy - go to Santa Fe!
