Carrabba's Italian Grill

I've been there twice and disappointed both times. The first time I had the lasagna and there was very little cheese in it. The other night I went their again because the person I was with wanted Italian food and there isn't much around that area for italian food. I had the Veal Cutlet Parm. It was awful. It was very chewy and the breading was was burned. The salad was the worst salad I've ever had in a restaurant. Just lettuce, sliced carrots and two small olives with a couple of small chunks of tomato. That's not italian! I should know, because I am 100% italian and don't see what the hipe is about this restaurant!! Then we ordered desert and coffee to find out they were out of what we ordered and ended up paying $5.00 for the coffee which we wouldn't have ordered if they had the desert we wanted in the first place. This shared lousy meal cost about $37.00 The only that was good though was the bread but we asked for butter and it was not brought to the table until we were almost done eating the bread. We had to ask for it again and then finally got it. Also, there smaller portion menu they have did not have smaller prices, as I had hoped. Way overpriced and poor quality meal.
I will say however I have had a better experience at the Carrabbas in Palm Harbor so it seems the location can vary greatly.
